The .225 cable is best for your guitar to effects connections, and then the output of your effects to the amplifier. The .155 cable is small and is perfect for connections between effects. The thicker cable lays nicer on the floor and has a better feel.
If you play a Strat type guitar with the sunken input jack, you will need to get the stretch type plugs because they have a longer metal jacket which makes it easy to plug and unplug your guitar.
Keeley Effects sound better with George L Cables. We use them for all connections made. The lower capacitance we measured here at the shop ensures more high-end frequency response. Clearer, bell-like tones are possible.
